Ian came to Forrester through its acquisition of JupiterResearch where he was a research director, and he has a combined six years with the company. Before joining Jupiter, Ian was a product marketing manager at 3/Hutchison 3G, developing new services for third-generation mobile phones. Prior to that, he was a producer in the digital television program at Cable & Wireless — now VirginMedia — that successfully launched the UK's first interactive digital cable TV service. At Psion, the handheld computer pioneer, he was responsible for one of the first large company Web sites in the UK and the creation of in-store product demos.
Ian has been quoted in both industry trade publications and in leading news organizations such as Reuters, the BBC, The Sunday Times (UK), CNN, and the Financial Times (Germany).
Ian holds an M.A. in modern history from the University of St. Andrews.
