Kyle leads Forrester's information technology (IT) research strategy and development. Listening closely to client needs, Kyle helps direct Forrester's efforts to deliver IT professionals the forward-looking, pragmatic, and actionable research and advice needed to make better decisions. Kyle has held analyst and research director positions with Forrester since 2004. His most recent research focused on helping Information & Knowledge Management professionals make better enterprise content management (ECM), document management, SharePoint, Web content management, and desktop productivity decisions. Kyle has delivered strategic guidance to Information & Knowledge Management professionals to help establish ECM strategies, define governance, identify roles and responsibilities, and select vendors and technologies to use to help information to use in the varying ways their business processes and business people work.
Kyle comes to Forrester with many years of enterprise experience in software consulting, product marketing, product management, and strategy. Most recently, he was director of strategy with Vignette, a leading ECM provider, where he was involved in corporate and product strategy, acquisitions, and partnerships. Prior to Vignette, he held product marketing and product management roles with organizations providing middleware and information management technology to Global 5,000 organizations worldwide. Kyle began his career with Accenture (then Andersen Consulting), helping organizations in a number of different industries adopt and implement technology to improve business processes.
Kyle holds a B.S. in finance from San Diego State University.
