Mike is a principal analyst covering telcos and marketing, telcos and ICT, telco metrics, operator strategies, the future of voice in Europe, structural separation, telecoms and the environment, and the role of private equity in telecom.
Prior to joining Forrester, Mike was a principal consultant at Ovum where he undertook a variety of projects for operators, vendors, manufacturers, regulators, and government agencies on a range of topics. At various times he was a project manager, topic expert, and project director. He has spoken at conferences organized by Alcatel-Lucent, BT, Croatia Telecom, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, HP, Infosys, LogicaCMG, Microsoft, Oracle, Satyam, and Telekom Austria. He has also spoken at conferences organized by Capacity magazine and Marcus Evans.Mike is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Mike holds a B.A. in combined studies in arts from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a master's in international management from McGill University, a diploma in International Practicing Management from INSEAD (Paris), an MBA in marketing from City University London, and a Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma in marketing.
