Before that, he was a principal analyst at research firm In-Stat, where he covered the global market for mobile phones and related devices. Prior to that, he was the managing editor of the well-known technology site, ZDNet AnchorDesk and was a successful publisher of a niche publication.

Education

Neil holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in English and Spanish from Whitman College.
