Robert serves Security & Risk professionals. He manages a team of analysts responsible for delivering research and advisory services on topics in IT security frameworks; governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), identity and access management (IAM); application security; data security; and IT infrastructure security. He also provides Forrester's coverage of specific security topics that includes network access control (NAC), network segmentation, and branch office security.
Prior to joining the security and risk team, Robert was a research director on the IT infrastructure and operations team. He led Forrester's research efforts on enterprise network operations and architecture and published extensively on topics like WAN optimization, routing, switching, network virtualization, and network management. Robert joined Forrester from Network Strategy Partners, a boutique management consulting company specializing in telecom, where he was a senior network analyst. Robert has been widely quoted in the press, including business media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal and industry media outlets such as Network World. Robert regularly speaks at Forrester events, on behalf of clients, and at industry events like Interop.
Robert received his B.S. degree in computer engineering from Tufts University.
