Roy serves Business Process & Applications professionals. He focuses on the strategies, practices, and technologies that enable high-performance product development, manufacturing, and order fulfillment processes. His primary research areas include order management hubs, product configurators, and product life-cycle management (PLM) applications. As part of this coverage, he also participates in research on bringing product-centric roles, practices, processes, and behaviors to application development organizations.
Prior to joining Forrester, Roy was a manager in Accenture's supply chain management practice, where he led operations strategy and improvement engagements for a variety of high-tech, industrial, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Prior to that, Roy was at Intel, where he conducted research on applying Lean manufacturing principles within a semiconductor production process.
Roy has an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an S.M. in mechanical engineering from MIT. He also holds two bachelor's degrees in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College.
