Research Focus

Sean is one of the driving forces behind Forrester's offerings for the Sourcing & Vendor Management (S&VM) professional. As senior advisor and global council manager for the Sourcing & Vendor Management Forrester Leadership Boards, Sean enables clients seeking to develop or improve their sourcing strategy to network with role peers in various industries and geographies, leverage Forrester's sourcing and vendor management research appropriately, and interact directly with sourcing and vendor management analysts.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to focusing on the Sourcing & Vendor Management Leadership Boards, Sean was an analyst at Forrester. In order to help S&VM professionals select the correct partner to meet their business needs, Sean's primary research focused on consulting and system integration firms' offerings regarding service-oriented architecture (SOA practices, SAP, and financial performance consulting). Sean covered firms' current offering, strategy, and market presence in various consulting offerings, while helping Forrester clients structure requests for proposals, review decision criteria, and assist during vendor selection process.

Sean joined Forrester's consulting practice at the end of 2004, providing competitive and market assessments, outsourcing and offshore road maps, benchmarking, and new services direction to Fortune 500 clients.

Prior to joining Forrester, Sean was a manager at Accenture, where he worked with various global firms spanning different industries. Sample projects include developing and implementing eCommerce strategies, managing an offshore software development team, and building BPO business cases.
