Simon serves Infrastructure & Operations professionals. He leads the research efforts of analysts focused on enterprise IT infrastructure topics in server, storage, and systems management. He also provides Forrester's coverage of enterprise PC hardware and software technologies to help organizations plan PC hardware refresh and operating system migrations and conducts research on emerging technology markets like China and India.
Prior to rejoining Forrester in 2003, Simon was service director, application platform strategies at the Burton Group. While at Forrester, he covered the application integration and Web services area and also spent 10 years in technical book acquisitions and publishing with Addison Wesley and McGraw-Hill.
Simon holds a B.A. in English and political science from the University of Rhode Island.
