Valérie serves Consumer Market Research professionals, working as a data researcher for Forrester's Consumer Technographics® product. In this role, Valérie is responsible for searching out strategic insights into the behavior and attitudes of European consumers with regards to technology. Especially, she is looking at the impact of the Internet on consumers' media consumption and shopping behavior. She regularly publishes documents on these topics in which she comments on the impact of the Internet in different European countries. She frequently assists marketers on specific consumer data projects such as segmentation analysis and market overviews. Valérie also contributes to Forrester Consumer Technographics® seminars.
Valérie joined Forrester in April 2004 and worked most recently as a senior data advisor. In this role, she helped clients in the consumer electronics, retail, media, telecom, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries with customized analysis and insights from Consumer Technographics® data. She has also been contributing to several Forrester reports, focusing mainly on media and retail topics. Prior to joining Forrester, Valérie worked as a marketing project coordinator for a fast-growing American coffee brand in Boston. In her role, she contributed by developing awareness of the retail brand through sampling and promotional activities. She also managed the company’s Web sites, performed sales analysis, and interacted with media partners on a daily basis.
Valérie has a master's degree in management from the Reims Management School in France. She also received an M.B.A. from Northeastern University in Boston, with a concentration in Marketing. In addition to her native language, French, she also speaks fluent English and Spanish.
