Vanessa came to Forrester from ibi research GmbH, where she headed the Competence Center Retail Banking as research director. Besides doing research and writing studies she managed various projects with banks and vendors on retail banking topics.
Prior to this, Vanessa was the divisional director for sales management and sales control at norisbank AG in Nürnberg. Her responsibilities included driving and controlling sales over the in-person and electronic sales channels of norisbank, as well as over the sales channels of partner banks from the cooperative sector. Before that appointment, Vanessa led the department product management of norisbank for one year. She was responsible for further development of the product range, especially consumer loans business. Vanessa has deep knowledge in the retail financial services market and broad experience in multichannel product and sales management — both from the banker and the consultant perspective.
A native of Germany, Vanessa is a graduate of business administration at Regensburg University and was promoted to Dr. rer. pol. in banking and IT. In her thesis she developed a functional specification for a sales supporting system for mortgage loans.
