Turning Innovative Ideas Into Action. Fostering a culture of innovation takes more than just asking for your people to be innovative. You must put a more formal program in place in order to vet the ideas and approve them for implementation. In this session, we will properly define innovation, members will share some of their own practices, and you will leave with concrete steps on how to set up your own formalized innovation process.

Cloud Adoption In Practice. Over the past several years, many I&O Professionals have had a wait-and-see attitude toward cloud investments. One main purpose was to allow the technologies and vendors to mature in this space. During this session, we will discuss how organizations have begun their cloud journey. Fellow members of the Council will share how they have begun incorporating public cloud solutions into their environment or the process they have used to build out their own private cloud.

How To Measure The Success Of Your Mobile Device Strategy. Firms are crafting BYOD strategies and adopting a multitude of mobile technologies to overcome access, cost, security, legal liability, and compliance challenges. But how do I&O leaders know they're on the right path? How do they measure the success of their mobile initiatives while managing the constantly evolving mobile ecosystem and new requirements from empowered employees? During this session, we will discuss workforce trends related to supporting employee-owned smartphones, slates/tablets, and laptops, and the policy and technology considerations associated. We will also highlight best practices to help I&O leaders identify the right metrics to measure the impact of their mobile initiatives.
