Principal Cyber Threat Analyst
Chase Cunningham is the principal cyber threat analyst for NeuSentry by NeuStar. His responsibilities include threat analysis, operational compromise reconstruction, and vectored cyber threat modeling.
Mr. Cunningham joined NeuStar in 2011 after building the DOD's computer network exploitation program and curriculum in Pensacola, Fla. His work on cyber range infrastructure is now the training and certification requirements of junior cyber analysts and operators from all branches of the US military. Prior to his time in Pensacola, Mr. Cunningham spent 13 years as a Navy Chief Cryptologic Technician and Cyber Warfare Operator supporting the US Navy Special Operations teams, as well as tactical Cryptologic Support teams from the NSA. Mr. Cunningham holds numerous security certifications including Computer Information Warfare Operator certifications, CHFI, and Anti Terrorism Accreditation Board Cyber, among others. His expertise is in the areas of tactical cyber operations kinetic actions, intrusion detection, data mining, malware analysis, and red team operations. He's currently a contributor to the DOD premier cyber warfare operations specialist field guide and other corporate security operations groups. Mr. Cunningham has a B.S. in homeland security operations with a focus in cybersecurity from the American Military University, as well as an M.S. in information security from Colorado Technical University. He's also pursuing a Ph.D. at Colorado Tech focusing in vectored threat mitigation.
