Senior Director of Relationship Marketing
As ExactTarget's Senior Director of Relationship Marketing, Chip leads teams responsible for helping our 7,000+ clients achieve success via client communications, product enablement and voice-of-customer activities. Chip has over 20 years of direct and interactive marketing experience. He also leads the global deliverability and privacy teams, which both interacts with ISPs and consults with clients to help them optimize email results.
Prior to ExactTarget, Chip was the senior director of marketing for Digital River, a leading e-commerce service provider. At Digital River, Chip launched the company's first email marketing program and several strategic online marketing initiatives.
Prior to Digital River, Chip spent nine years with direct marketing giant Fingerhut Corporation and held roles in marketing, merchandising and promotion management, including online marketing responsibilities for Fingerhut's first online stores in 1996. Chip holds a degree in economics and management from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, as well as marketing MBA coursework at St. Thomas University in St. Paul.
