Christophe Guillard is Head of Sanofi’s CTO Office since 2010. He is responsible for the strategic, financial, and process excellence of the New Global Infrastructure Services organization, which includes 800 collaborators, 110,000 users, and 400 sites worldwide. He is a member of the management committee led by the chief technology officer (CTO) that is supervising an in-depth infrastructure transformation across the company; he is also a sponsor of a global business service management process standardization program.
Mr. Guillard graduated as a computer science engineer from the Academy of Information Technology in Paris in 1993. He started his professional career in the US that year, working for Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, where he led a two-year global IT security program to ensure virus protection and IT access control worldwide.
In 1995, Mr. Guillard returned to France, where he assumed extensive responsibilities for service management at an operational level and for global architecture design for a number of key research and development (R&D) business projects. In 2000, he joined the R&D Information System team to lead the global business application department, supporting regulatory operations and global pharmaco-vigilance of drugs.
In 2005, Mr. Guillard joined the R&D Infrastructure & Services organization, supporting the global research and development process for new drugs and then became Global Head.
