Daniel Klein

VP, Consulting Director

Dan leads the global consulting portfolio that develops custom content marketing assets and tools for world-class content marketing programs along with managing Forrester’s Advisory Consulting business. In his role, he is chartered with establishing and operating each organization’s product, delivery and go-to-market strategies.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to his current role, Dan lead the Forrester team serving technology marketing professionals with research, executive-level peer communities, data-backed decision engines and consulting. Dan’s responsibilities include establishing the group’s strategic direction, orchestrating its IP creation and aggregation, and directing its product portfolio.

Previously, Dan served as vice president and practice leader for Forrester’s consulting business. In this role, he was responsible for establishing and executing the strategic plan for the technology provider consulting practice, in addition to driving its sales and marketing initiatives. His focus included development of Forrester’s tailored custom research offerings for technology providers and managing the project management and delivery teams. Dan assumed this role after directing Forrester’s project consulting organization, where he focused on operational improvements and team development.

Dan joined the consulting organization after being a global account director where he was responsible for the account management activities for a selection of Forrester’s largest clients. He coordinated sales and helped clients maximize their investments in Forrester’s Research, Data, Consulting, and Community offerings. Dan came to Forrester through its acquisition of Giga Information Group, where he had similar responsibilities.

Prior to joining Giga, Dan was responsible for managing Hurwitz Group’s relationship with a select group of strategic clients. During his six years at Hurwitz Group, Dan also held other positions in both business development and marketing. Before that, Dan worked for the University of Colorado’s Buying and Contracting department, purchasing IT hardware and software.

Education

Dan has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder and also attended Lancaster University in Lancaster, UK.
