    David Karandish became CEO of Answers in 2011 when AFCV Holdings, which he co-founded in 2006, acquired the top Q&A destination Answers.com. David is responsible for setting corporate strategy and driving revenue partnerships for the company, evolving a primarily Internet media business into a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise solutions for the multichannel customer experience.

    In 2003, as a college undergrad, David was co-founder and CEO of Expo Group, an online resource in the consumer mortgage industry. At the same time, he served as a consultant at MonsterCommerce, where he built its paid advertising management system. As a side project in high school, he invented AIM Talk, a program that allows the computer to speak what users type through AOL’s Instant Message program.

    David is a member of the Lewis & Clark chapter of the Young President’s Organization, a recipient of the 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2012 class of 40 Under 40 honorees. At the age of 22, David was the youngest contestant to appear on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.

    David earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating cum laude, and resides in St. Louis, Missouri, with his wife and two daughters.
