Sr Consultant

Feng Gu is a senior consultant based in Beijing. He covers Forrester’s strategy, business technology, and content marketing offerings for Forrester’s Asia Pacific consulting practice and leads consulting in South East Asia. He works with clients to address the need for customer experience transformation and technology strategy.

He has over 20 years of experience in the telecom, media, and technology (TMT) industry and management consulting. He also has broad professional experience as a corporate strategy director, investment advisor, IT strategy, and business consultant.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Forrester, Feng was an investment advisor with a venture capital firm in China, where his areas of expertise included emerging tech, business model and industrial trend studies, and providing insights for the deal team.

Feng was also previously a director of corporate strategy and product management with Asiainfo. Feng built up its corporate strategy management system and product process to better support strategy transformation. Before Asiainfo, Feng worked for Lenovo as a senior IT strategy manager in the CIO organization. As program leader, he enabled customer engagement transformations as well as the development of a CIO organization strategy. Feng also gained experience in management consulting while working with Ericsson Business Consulting, where he was a specialist in business strategy, product development and planning, operations, and new tech adoption.

Education

Feng has a bachelor’s degree in material science from the University Of Science and Technology Beijing.
