SURVEY METHODOLOGY

The Forrester Analytics Consumer Technographics Media And Marketing Recontact Survey, 2021, was fielded from March to May 2021. This online survey included 4,771 respondents in the US, 2,223 respondents in Canada, 2,087 respondents in metropolitan China, 2,336 respondents in metropolitan India, and 1,236 respondents in Australia between the ages of 18 and 84. It also included 2,235 respondents in the UK, 2,123 respondents in France, 2,307 respondents in Germany, 2,229 respondents in Spain, and 2,195 respondents in Italy between the ages of 16 and 84. For results based on a randomly chosen sample of this size, there is 95% confidence that the results have a statistical precision of plus or minus 1.4% of what they would be if the entire population of US online adults had been surveyed; plus or minus 2.1% of what they would be if the entire population of Canadian, UK, French, Spanish, Italian, or metropolitan Chinese online adults had been surveyed; plus or minus 2.0% of what they would be if the entire population of German or metropolitan Indian online adults had been surveyed; and plus or minus 2.8% of what they would be if the entire population of Australian online adults had been surveyed.

In North America, Forrester weighted the data by age, gender, income, and region to demographically represent the US and Canadian online adult populations. The survey sample size, when weighted, was 4,771 in the US and 2,221 in Canada. In Europe, Forrester weighted the data by age and gender to demographically represent the UK, French, German, Spanish, and Italian online adult populations.
