    Nancy B. Clark is Senior Vice President, Head of Operational Excellence Organization at Verizon, reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Lowell McAdam. The organization is designed to improve the value Verizon delivers to customers, employees, and shareowners by identifying and implementing process improvements and customer-led design to create a more efficient, effective, and agile company.

    Before assuming her current position in June 2013, Clark was President, Northeast area for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company's operations in the New England, New York metro, Philadelphia tri-state, upstate New York, and Washington/Baltimore/Virginia regions.

    Prior to that, Clark served as Vice President, National Operations, responsible for national consumer operations, and as President, Great Plains region, responsible for the company's operations throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and the Dakotas.

    Clark began her telecommunications career with the former GTE, working in finance, marketing, and sales positions for the company’s Texas and California markets. When Verizon Wireless was formed in 2000, she joined the Midwest area and was responsible for sales channel operations and then served the area as Vice President, Customer Service.

    Clark holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Houston.

    She is on the board of Safe Horizon, the largest victims’ services agency in the US, which assists more than 250,000 children, adults, and families affected by crime and abuse throughout New York City each year.
