Sal’s research focuses on helping clients maximize the business value of emerging security technologies related to the internet of things (IoT) and endpoint devices, physical-logical convergence, and identity and access management (IAM). Sal has also built a background in regulatory affairs, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, and risk management.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to this role, Sal supported the Security & Risk research team as a research associate. In addition to his current coverage, he researched end user security experiences, privacy, medical device security and healthcare risk management. Prior to Forrester, Sal worked in private equity consulting, environmental sustainability, and regulatory affairs. He has been published in the International Journal of Press and Politics.

Education

Sal graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a B.A. in political science and a focus on public policy and psychology.
