Sandy leads Forrester’s service delivery research practice, which helps our infrastructure and operations (I&O) clients navigate the changing world of technology and services and drive business growth with digital transformation. The analysts on her team are experts in areas such as DevOps, cognitive operations, enterprise and application service management and monitoring, I&O transformation, strategic sourcing, service integration and management, service brokering, and outsourcing.

Previous Work Experience

Sandy is an accomplished research and strategy expert with 20-plus years of business and technology industry experience in consulting, program leadership, market and competitive analysis, and communications. Prior to Forrester, Sandy was a research director and analyst at IDC, where she established and led its web services practice, covering advances in enterprise and application architecture and emerging technologies. During her tenure at IDC, she also ran the vertical market practice and provided applications research coverage. As a research director at Fuld & Company, Sandy worked with technology and industry clients, delivering custom research-based strategic and competitive intelligence guidance. She most recently developed market insights and thought leadership for Deloitte’s technology, media, and telecommunications practice. 

Earlier in her career, Sandy held positions in IS, market research, and competitive intelligence, primarily within the finance, insurance, and healthcare sectors. She also served on the leadership board of the Boston Product Management Association.

Education

Sandy holds a B.S. in marketing and an MIS/Management Science from the University of Rhode Island.
