Server Virtualization

This term refers to the separation of the logical elements of a server and their function, CPU and memory, physical storage and the intervening input/output (I/O) paths from physical instantiation, and the ability to manage the associations between these elements to provide the basic list of capabilities through a nondisruptive process.
