GMCC Head of Sales Enablement
In his current role, Thierry van Herwijnen focuses on building strategic sales enablement programs that help sales teams around the world change the conversation from IT to business technology (BT) and deliver business value by helping them align more closely with their customers’ business priorities.
Until recently, Mr. van Herwijnen played a major role in the continued annual double-digit growth of Cisco Systems’ enterprise business in key emerging markets over the past five years. This was achieved by identifying new opportunities and supporting account teams in expanding the size and scope of their existing customer deals.
Having worked with major blue-chip organizations, including Cisco, Shell, and BT, Mr. van Herwijnen has considerable experience in both a domestic and international capacity. For the past 17 years, he has worked directly with customers and partners in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Mr. van Herwijnen has recently moved into a global role.
Mr. van Herwijnen is a regular presenter at both Cisco and industry-leading events.
