Vijay has more than 19 years of experience. Prior to becoming a senior analyst, he was a senior manager in the financial services advisory practice of Ernst & Young LLP. While there, he led client engagements related to digital strategy and customer experience design and analysis, market research, and new product development for top-tier global banks, wealth and asset management institutions, insurance companies, and leading payment networks across the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. 

Vijay also worked at American Express for six years, where he held various marketing and customer experience roles and assisted in the launch of the company’s digital bank, American Express Personal Savings. His work included conducting market research to extract customer insights and lead the transformation of the customer onboarding experience by optimizing the website, contact center, core banking platform, and back-office operations to drive deposit growth and loyalty.

Education

Vijay holds an MBA in marketing and general management from Rice University in Houston, Texas, as well as dual B.A. degrees in economics and microbiology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
