Yidan Wang is a consultant with Forrester’s Asia Pacific consulting practice, based in Beijing. She supports research-based market impact consulting that drives clients’ thought leadership and is also responsible for digital and customer experience transformation consulting.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Forrester, Yidan was an associate research manager at KANTAR TNS. She specialized in telecom, media, and technology (TMT) industry research with both quantitative and qualitative approaches, such as online surveys, CLT, CATI, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews.

While at KANTAR TNS, Yidan was involved in TMT market and industry trends analysis, product and concept competitiveness evaluations, as well as B2B and B2C user insights research. She also supported clients in areas like market entry/product launch strategy, communication optimization, and target customer identification.

 

Education

Yidan holds a double bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology from Peking University and a master’s degree in social psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
