With Forrester since July 2005, Diego primarily contributes to and advises on Forrester’s offerings for application development and delivery and software engineering leaders. He partners with Forrester’s global technology leaders and is a leading expert on modern software development, from agile to AI-enabled software development, agentic software development (ASD), software engineering transformation, and software testing. His research covers generative AI in software development, agentic development platforms and tools, autonomous testing platforms, testing of AI systems, software engineering intelligence, modern application development, and software quality engineering. He also advises clients on AI-driven software delivery practices, operating models, governance, and workforce transformation.

His 40 years of industry experience, beyond application development, enable him to advise on modernizing software engineering organizations, transforming development and testing practices, optimizing software delivery performance, and evaluating emerging technologies and vendors. He also has extensive experience leading complex mission-critical initiatives, technology strategy assessments, and client engagement management.
