Marianne works with executive management teams to develop transformational strategies, solve problems, and create organizational transparency with a laser focus on customer and employee experiences.

She helps her clients align business and technology strategies, leveraging an “outside-in” approach while driving business value. Marianne’s specialties include creating actionable transformational strategies, monetizing digital experiences, unlocking the power of data, simplifying governance, and improving infrastructure. Marianne serves customers in diverse industries including financial services (banking, wealth management, and insurance), higher education, manufacturing, vendors, and government.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Forrester, Marianne was the chief information officer (CIO) at Johnson & Wales University, where she was responsible for transforming and maturing all aspects of the IT organization. She focused on creating an IT strategy aligned with business goals, infrastructure (data center and cloud), information security, service delivery/ITIL, vendor management, reinventing the project management office, digital insights, and application development.

Marianne also has over 20 years of financial services senior leadership experience in technology, digital, channel management, marketing, product management, and customer service. She has been leveraging personas and journey mapping in her work since 2000.

Marianne is known for creating award-winning digital strategies, igniting innovation, developing customer-centric products and services, and leading game-changing transformational efforts.

Education

Marianne obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Providence College.
