Summary

In Forrester's 27-criteria evaluation of global workplace services vendors, we identified the 13 most significant providers — Atos, Capgemini, Cognizant, CSC, Fujitsu, The Global Workspace Alliance (GWA), HCL Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), IBM, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Unisys, and Wipro — and analyzed their offerings. Despite workplace innovations like emerging "bring your own" models, most workplace services are still centrally delivered and lend themselves well to outsourced delivery. However, the nature of workplace services themselves has changed substantially. Today's services mix is a blend of traditional and newer services like virtual desktop models and mobility services. Thus, the roster of market leaders and strong performers has evolved. Sourcing and vendor management (SVM) pros must throw away their historic biases and consider this key market anew.
