Private cloud adoption is thriving in North America. With increasing interest in public cloud migration, infrastructure and operations (I&O) professionals are concerned about private cloud investments and adoption. Over the past few years, our data has shown private cloud's growing popularity as part of a larger hybrid cloud business technology (BT) strategy. 2016 is no exception, with strong indicators of continued investment. This report explores current trends in private cloud adoption, using data from Forrester Data Global Business Technographics® Infrastructure Survey, 2016 and Forrester Data Global Business Technographics Developer Survey, 2016.
