Summary

During November 2011 and December 2011, Forrester surveyed 676 software decision-makers across Germany, France, and the UK to determine their spending priorities around software. With new systems of engagement — those that build on cloud, mobility, and big data — on the rise, European decision-makers reflect pressure to adjust their software spending priorities accordingly. European firms are shifting away from the traditional systems of records and paying more attention to and increasing investment in new systems and software that help them engage with clients, partners, and their own workforce. Using our European survey data, this report provides deeper insights into the areas that European companies are steering their software investments toward and offers an analysis of growth opportunities for vendors across the region.
