Summary

The maturity and sophistication of existing data warehousing (DW) implementations across the Asia Pacific (AP) region has been variable, to say the least. However, unless firms clearly define these initiatives as business projects with technology support rather than technology projects with some business support, the chances of success will be limited. This report outlines the current adoption trends for big data in AP and provides recommendations on how to ensure success with big data initiatives.
