Summary

Forrester has been evaluating website user experiences since 1999, and we've completed more than 1,500 site reviews so far. This year, for the first time, we turned our attention to Chinese-language websites. We evaluated 12 major sites in three industries — retail, airlines, and hospitality. Retail outperformed the other two industries. Marriott earned the highest score. On average, non-Chinese company sites trail Chinese domestic company sites.
