Agile government procurement sounds like an oxymoron. Despite efforts to streamline the procurement process, like the Federal Acquisition Regulation, many government agencies' legacy mindsets hinder their ability to source and partner effectively for tech services and software to drive digital government initiatives. This report details six lessons on applying Agile principles to the procurement process for government application development and delivery (AD&D) leaders and others involved in government procurement.
