Digitas seeks to differentiate itself based on strong practices in rich media design and multichannel marketing campaigns. Because of its heritage as a traditional direct marketing agency and its investments in video content, this is a viable strategy that translates into strong visual design and polished video production for clients. The firm's reference Web sites planted Digitas squarely in the middle of the pack for user-centered design work, a significant improvement over our 2005 evaluation. However, the quality of the firm's user research and persona creation scores dropped compared with what we saw in our previous assessment.
