Online shopping uptake slows down in Europe, Sweden and the Netherlands show the largest increase in online shopping in the past year. However, the majority of European shoppers live in Germany or the UK.

European online shoppers have more online experience, are younger, and are more optimistic about technology. Leisure travel is researched most online, followed by books, but only a small number of categories have a decent amount of buyers: most categories still struggle to convert lookers into bookers.
