Summary

The Retail eCommerce In Brazil series summarizes the results of a survey that Forrester Research conducted together with E-Commerce Brasil in August and September 2014. In this survey, respondents from traditional retailers, web-only retailers, and manufacturers selling direct responded to questions about the current state of their eCommerce businesses. We published the first report in October, covering key performance indicators such as conversion rates and average order values. This second report addresses team headcount dedicated to various eCommerce functions, such as operations and marketing, and details regarding the top eCommerce investment priorities and biggest anticipated challenges of selling online over the next year. This report will help both local and global companies better understand the eCommerce opportunity in Brazil and help them benchmark their teams and initiatives against our survey results.
