Summary

A group of tech marketers and Forrester analysts recently engaged in an all-day Forrester event in London on the use of social media in a B2B marketing context. Our discussions focused on trends in social media adoption by B2B technology buyers and nascent best practices in social media marketing. While participants' experiences with social media varied, clearly the bell has rung on getting social media into the marketing mix. One question emerged in several conversations, which we answer here: How can marketers localize content and tools to address global audiences, or more accurately, how can marketers address local audiences in target markets around the world?
