Modern software delivery practices use an automated pipeline in which code is delivered, built, tested, and deployed with limited manual intervention. Because the technologies that enable this pipeline have evolved independently, tool integration is complex. This is an update of our previous analysis of continuous delivery tools for application development and delivery (AD&D) professionals; Forrester reviews and revises it periodically for continued relevance and accuracy.
