In September 2014, we published our 40-criteria Forrester Wave evaluation of 11 application programming interface (API) management solutions vendors: 3scale, Apigee, Axway, CA Technologies, IBM, Informatica, Intel Services, MuleSoft, SOA Software, Tibco, and WSO2. The findings showed how well each vendor fulfilled the breadth and depth of our criteria. There are a wide variety of possible API strategies, each of which may give rise to different "must have" buying criteria. In this report, we provide four buyer's guides as a quick reference to ten potential must-have criteria. This analysis will help application development and delivery (AD&D) professionals select the right partner for their API management needs.
