B2B integration has been supported for decades by managed file transfer (MFT) and electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions. These will continue, but companies require more agility, scalability, and visibility in their B2B exchanges. In addition, previously stable vendor ecosystems are becoming dynamic ecosystems of value. Enterprise architects should review their strategic choices for B2B integration in light of potential future integration within these more dynamic ecosystems.
