Summary

This State Of Retailing Online report comprises the results from the annual survey that Forrester Research conducts in partnership with Shop.org. In this survey, online executives at retail companies respond to questions about their business performance in the past year. Data points captured in this most recent survey include overall growth figures as well as key website metrics. Retailers reported that 2013 online sales growth was 29% higher than in 2012 and that most of their key metrics, such as site conversion rates, had improved in the same time frame. Mobile continues to grow, comprising a greater percent of overall web sales, and as a result is the top investment initiative planned for the coming year.
