Mobile continues to be a phenomenon; we're seeing accelerating adoption and greater integration with consumers' lifestyles. The number of unique smartphone subscribers in the US grew by 34 million in 2013 and will increase by another 20 million by the end of 2014, with further growth of 16 million in 2015. At the same time, smartphones are becoming more deeply embedded in consumers' retail behavior. With increased mobile phone ownership and functional versatility, the device is emerging as a key component of US consumers' shopping experiences.
