AI and machine learning (ML) are transforming many existing technologies and processes. Identity and access management (IAM) is no exception to this trend, with many incumbent IAM vendors and new startups developing AI/ML approaches to address existing identity threats. Although AI for IAM is still emerging, security and risk (S&R) pros need to assess how such approaches can help optimize existing deployments.
