The need to integrate systems of engagement, demand for greater agility, and execution in the cloud are driving the disruption of the integration landscape. Enterprise architecture (EA) professionals must assess their integration solutions' ability to meet these new requirements and future ones for systems of automation and the internet of things (IoT). This report helps EA pros by providing a definition of integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS), a reference architecture for integration platforms, a categorization of vendors in the market, and an assessment of their maturity.
