In July 2019, we published two Forrester Wave™ evaluations on enterprise business intelligence (BI) platforms — client-managed and vendor-managed. We used 19 criteria to evaluate 20 vendors across the two Forrester Wave reports. This report presents additional insights uncovered during the evaluation process; specifically, three use cases where business insights pros can leverage enterprise BI platforms beyond reporting, dashboards, and descriptive/diagnostic analytics.
