Many banks have flagship branches that showcase modern technology and innovative customer interaction concepts. However, most have just one or a few of these showcases, so the overall number of high-tech, high-touch branches remains low. Because most of these innovative branches use a unique combination of architecture and technology, application development and delivery (AD&D) teams are likely to find choosing the right branch concept to be a slow, costly, and painful endeavor.
