This report describes some little-known tips for managing the crucial execution phase, in which a project team finalizes its choice of product and/or vendor, creates the commercial agreement, and starts its implementation project. We've looked beyond the clichés to find new insights that will help application development and delivery (AD&D) professionals lay the foundation for successful projects, particularly for those involving migration to software-as-a-service (SaaS). This is an update of an earlier report that we published in July 2015. It includes new examples, fresh data, and revised recommendations.
