In 2006, Digital Insight, a US-based online banking provider, began fortifying its data protection strategy by deploying data discovery capabilities to monitor compliance with its policies on the storage of sensitive data. The initial success of the data discovery solution led Digital Insight to expand its deployment to monitoring and controlling the movement of data out of its corporate network. With enhanced visibility into and control over both data at rest (DAR) and data in motion (DIM), Digital Insight is able to automatically enforce its compliance policies and prevent unintended exposure of data.
