Summary

Enterprise architecture (EA) leaders have small teams with big responsibilities. Few EA teams are staffed adequately to deliver all that they are tasked with. To increase their impact, EA teams leverage a wide variety of IT staff to both develop and promote the architecture. Architects can tap into a wider range of talent to support EA efforts by expanding their collaboration initiatives beyond IT to other corporate services groups. Stepping outside the corporate walls opens up even more opportunities for knowledge sharing, innovation, and acquiring cost-effective resources. In addition, new technologies provide new opportunities for architects to include others in their process.
