The US federal government doesn’t have an innovation problem, but it does have an adoption problem. The state of agile adoption in US government agencies demonstrates strong executive and organizational commitment to modern service delivery practices and agile ways of working. However, confoundingly, few projects are fully agile. This report outlines the importance of agile service delivery in the federal government, its key impediments, and strategies for success.
